A leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps in Naval and Industrial markets has an Entry Level Machinist position available. Looking for qualified candidates to fill this position in a dynamic high mix/low volume, lean manufacturing environment: The successful candidate will be either pursuing a degree/certificate in machining or have the desire to take courses and receive on the job training. The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, a strong work ethic and effective communication skills. Starting pay for the Entry Level Machinist position is $19.71-33.29/hr plus monthly bonus and annual profit sharing. Pay progresses as classes and training are completed. Candidates should plan for second and third shift as seniority dictates, following a training period. Additional $1.25/hr plus 4 hours off monthly for working a night shift.

Consistent standing, walking, push/pull and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with manufacturing, CNC machines, blueprints, and product specifications would be beneficial.

Successful completion of a job specific post-offer/pre-employment criminal background check, drug screen and physical required.
